Description: Join us on Wednesday, June 25th, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the LPCCC Board Room, 18 Campbell Street, Luray, for an engaging session of the Industry Council – HUBZone.
This event will provide valuable insights into HUBZone certification and how businesses located in designated HUBZone areas can access federal contracts and other strategic growth opportunities. With Page County home to one of the highest concentrations of HUBZone-certified businesses, understanding recent and upcoming changes is essential. We are pleased to welcome Carl Knoblock, District Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Virginia, as our featured speaker.
In the first session from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Mr. Knoblock will share his expertise and provide an overview of the SBA’s Federal Contracting Certification Programs, explaining how small businesses can successfully navigate and compete in the federal marketplace—the largest buyer in the world. In the second session 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, He will also discuss the new SBA HUBZone regulation changes taking effect in December 2024, including how they may positively or negatively impact local business models.
Lunch will be provided by Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce and will be $15 for Chamber Members and $20 for Potential Members.
If you’d like to be part of this important conversation and discover how to better position your business within these special economic zones, please RSVP by Monday, June 23rd.
